Why do you think Randy
Pausch was able to achieve so many of his childhood dreams?
Treat
life as an experiment expect failure
Try
Fail
forward
Take
risks

Failure
as steppingstones
One of the very most important things we see in his life is that he
was not in deniel after things around him, we see that he kept going despite
the challenges. He had Few regrets and this attitude it helped him power
through life's challenges and failures. Being patient with himself helped him
understand the processes and take them as he experienced what he really wanted.
He said, “Experience is what you get when you don’t get what you want” this helps a lot of individuals move forward
as they develop different attributes and attitudes. He had the attitude of I want
to make stuff like this rather than I want to do this. The brick walls are there
to give us a chance to show we want it badly. In his childhood his parents
allowed him to paint the bedroom walls, I would also add that he was painting
his dreams on the walls and it gave him such a boost in his life. Having dreams
is just not enough, Its how to lead your life not about your dreams that gets
you forward and successful.

Do you feel that
dreaming is important? Why or why not?
One
quotation I remember is, “dreaming is what keeps you up at night rather than
what you fantasize in your sleep.” This quote clearly shows that the word dreams
it's not just a fantasy but ambitions. Therefore, it is important to dream big.

Discuss at least one
of your childhood dreams. Explain why you believe you can or cannot achieve
this dream.
When
we grew up, we would always say that I want to be a doctor I want to be a pilot
I want to be something big, and we were not specific. One thing I do remember
is that I wanted to be a successful businessman of my own business. I believe
I'm in the road to achieving this dream.
