W02 Study: How Will You Measure Your Life

 

Last year I was bold enough to register for a company even though I did not have a plan on what I wanted to do in that company. What drove me to opening that company is my goal, which was to be a successful businessman. Opening this company has made me a motivated individual in pursuing my dreams of being a renowned businessman. As I started my entrepreneurial journey, I was motivated by different influences around me. I am a very determined individual and I truly believed that whatever I'm learning in this course is as I take part in this degree will be of benefit and would give me ideas on how to go about my business and select the right business for me.

This week's lessons have taught me how to be successful as I am selecting the right business for me. Before this lesson, it is surprising that I had an idea of what I wanted to do and this was what I loved doing, which was working with electricity and more especially researching on the possible opportunities of renewable energy I can base my business in. It is very important to understand that what I love has driven me to where I am right now. Because of these assignments I have reached a level in my life where I am so grateful for pursuing this course.

In this week’s lesson I have learned a lot of how it is possible for one to develop fear in this journey as you strive and fight to be a self-independent individual. It is very important to strategize in a way that would help you mitigate any issues if they do arise. In any business, we do find that there are challenges, and it is up to the management to be able to tackle such issues with confidence and hope for the future.

I've learned that situations will differ, and each business will face fears of losing their valuables, and these may come in forms of assets, intellectual property, and finances. Despite the issues and the fears, a company needs to possess confidence in themselves to creating a plan that would protect the business.

It is possible that the worst-case scenario may happen but, when I involve people around me who are intelligent and patient with me, the chances that a worst-case scenario will really happen are close to none.

I hear and to be financially stable and independent. The core of my fears truly come from expectations of failure in a way that I will not obtain my deepest desires.

When one acts, it shows their true desires. And if one decides not to act it shows that the item, they are in pursuit of wasn't truly their deepest desire. In this journey when fear pops up, I will do my best to write it down and think of possibilities on how to mitigate the issue at hand when it arises.

How future is bright if we prepare for it. As leaders there is a lot of ways, we can improve ourselves in terms of helping people around us and helping ourselves. Every business focus should be around helping other people and its principles and core values should align with the status quo after vision and mission of the company. It is very important to choose the right people for the job. Though the lesson this week was focused on growing as individuals, individuals within the business needs to have the same values so as to work as a team and improve where they stand. As the individuals follow the formula to success, the business will benefit as well greatly beyond our imagination.
